Could it be that Virginia will add a fourth 4-star basketball player to its Class of 2022 by week’s end?

Ryan Dunn, a 6-foot-7 wing, from Long Island, N.Y., said on his Twitter account Thursday that he will be announcing his commitment on Saturday from the NY Top 100 in Long Island.

Dunn visited UVA this past weekend.

Ranked the No. 112 overall prospect in the country by Rivals, and No. 148 by 247Sports, Dunn rose rapidly through the recruiting ranks with outstanding play on the AAU circuit this summer. Tony Bennett liked what he saw when he scouted Dunn in person and quickly offered.

Dunn attended Long Island Lutheren on Long Island, but has transferred to Perkiomen School in Pennsylvania for his senior season.

Other offers are from South Carolina, Texas A&M, Georgetown, Oklahoma State, St. Joe’s, Pitt and Minnesota.
