Virginia’s home game with Notre Dame next Saturday will kick off at 7:30 p.m. and will be televised by ABC.

The Irish are 8-1 after having beaten longtime rival Navy, 34-6, earlier today. Virginia is 6-3 overall and had a bye this weekend, after having lost a high-scoring matchup against BYU last Saturday.

Virginia has never beaten Notre Dame, which will be making its second-ever appearance in Charlottesville, having won a nailbiter against Mike London’s Cavaliers several years ago.

UVA’s quarterbacking situation is up in the air as Brennan Armstrong’s status is unknown. Armstrong appeared to have suffered broken ribs in the fourth quarter at BYU. Bronco Mendenhall has not commented on his quarterback situation since that game.
