Virginia adds Harvard grad transfer Devin Darrington

Running back Devin Darrington (Harvard) has signed grant-in-aid documents and will enroll at UVA this summer. He will have one year of eligibility remaining.
Darrington (Forest Hill, Md.) is set to graduate from Harvard this spring with a degree in government after playing in 22 career games for the Crimson. He leaves Harvard with 1,181 career rushing yards and 12 touchdowns. Darrington earned second-team All-Ivy League honors in 2019 after leading Harvard in rushing with 734 yards, finishing fifth in the Ivy League. Darrington scored seven touchdowns in 2019, which ranked fifth in the Ivy League.
He was a Phil Steele preseason All-Ivy League second-team selection in 2020 before the Ivy League season was canceled due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
Darrington attended The Bullis School just outside Washington, D.C. in Potomac, Md. He was a four-year letterwinner and earned all-state, all-conference and all-county honors for the Bulldogs.
