Wahoo Preview: No. 10 Virginia at Wake Forest

Virginia travels to take on Wake Forest Saturday in Winston-Salem, in a matchup of two of the hottest teams in the ACC.

Both the 10th-ranked Cavaliers (14-3, 6-2 ACC) and the Demon Deacons (14-5, 6-2) have won their last four games, and six of their last seven.

Florida grad-transfer point guard Tyree Appleby has been the main ingredient for Steve Forbes’ team, as he ranks second in the conference in scoring (18.1 points per game) while also leading the league in assists (6.1 per game).

Cameron Hildreth, Damari Monsanto and Andrew Carr have all been key contributors.

Wake has already knocked off two ranked opponents this season, Duke and Clemson, and hasn’t lost at home all season (10-0).
