Women’s Tennis: No. 12 seed Cavaliers travel to face No. 5 Michigan in NCAA Super Regional

The Virginia women’s tennis team plays in the Round of 16 of the 2023 NCAA Women’s Tennis Team Championship against Michigan on Saturday at 1 p.m. in Ann Arbor.

NOTING THE CAVALIERS
- The Cavaliers (20-6) are the No. 12 seed in the tournament but are No. 11 in the latest ITA team rankings. Michigan (24-3) is the No. 5 seed and the No. 5 team in the rankings
- Virginia has won the doubles point in 15 of its last 19 matches
- Julia Adams and Mélodie Collard are ranked No. 10 in doubles with a 22-5 record with 20 of those wins coming in dual matches
- Adams reached 30 doubles wins last weekend for the season
- Natasha Subhash and Elaine Chervinsky are ranked No. 29 in doubles with a 20-7 record as a duo
- Subhash is looking to join Adams with 20 doubles wins, sitting at a 29-8 mark for the year
- Sara Ziodato leads the team in singles victories with a 27-10 record. She has won her last eight completed matches
