Kihei Clark signing Summer League deal with Utah Jazz

The Utah Jazz are expected to sign former Virginia point guard Kihei Clark to the team’s Summer League team some time today.

Clark, a record-breaking, five-year point guard for Tony Bennett, worked out for four NBA teams, hoping to land a spot on a roster. Details of the deal were not available.

The Jazz play Collin Sexton, Jordan Clarkson and Kris Dunn at the point, but are looking at adding depth. Utah drafted a pair of guards in Thursday’s draft: Ohio State’s Brice Sensabaugh and Baylor’s Keyonte George, but both are considered shooting guards.

In his five seasons as a Wahoo, Clark averaged 8.9 points, 2.8 rebounds and 4.5 assists per game, finishing his career as the school’s all-time leader in games played (161), games started (141), wins (122) and assists (718).
