Washington earns PFF All-American honors

Virginia wide receiver Malik Washington was listed as a second team All-American by Pro Football Focus on Tuesday. He is the lone offensive player from the ACC to be listed on the PFF All-America Team voted on by 17 of PFF’s analysts and data collectors.
Washington caught 110 passes for 1,426 yards, both UVA single-season records. The 110 receptions were the most ever by an ACC receiver and his 1,426 receiving yards were the fifth-most ever by an ACC pass catcher.
According to PFF’s premium stats, Washington had 34 missed tackles forced after a reception, the most of any wide receiver in the country. His 711 yards after the catch, ranked third among FBS wideouts and the second-most of the six PFF All-America selections.
