Virginia swimming & diving head coach Todd DeSorbo announced the team’s schedule on Monday.
The upcoming slate features four home meets and competition against some of the top teams in the nation.
The Cavaliers open the season with a home meet against Navy on Sept. 28. UVA hosts Florida on Friday, Oct. 18, to kick off the weekend-long celebration of the 50th anniversary of the women’s swimming & diving becoming a varsity sport at UVA. Florida’s men and women both finished the season ranked No. 2 in the final CSCAA rankings.
After a Nov. 1 dual at North Carolina, the teams head to Knoxville for the Tennessee Invite (Nov. 20-22).
The Cavaliers close out 2024 with select athletes competing at the Toyota U.S. Open Championships, Dec. 4-7 in Greensboro, N.C. Last year, 845 athletes from across the U.S. competed at the event, including 68 U.S. National Team members, 34 U.S. Olympians and 29 American record holders.
UVA rings in the new year by hosting Virginia Tech on January 11. In one of its biggest meets of the year, the Cavaliers head to Austin to compete January 24-25 at the Texas Duals. The meet includes separate duals against host Texas (2024 NCAA women’s runner-up), Arizona State (2024 NCAA Men’s Champion) and NC State (the winner of the last three ACC Men’s Championships).
Virginia has a final warm-up for the postseason by hosting the fourth-annual Cavalier Invite Feb. 7-9.
The 2025 ACC Championships will be held Feb. 18-22 in Greensboro, N.C. The women’s NCAA Championships are set for March 19-22 in Federal Way, Wash., with the men’s championship taking place in the same location March 26-29.
Admission is free for all home meets at the Aquatic and Fitness Center.
