Coach Mox promotes Jones to UVA Associate Head Coach

Virginia head women’s basketball coach Amaka Agugua-Hamilton announced that CJ Jones has been promoted to the position of Associate Head Coach effective immediately.
Advancing from the position of Assistant Coach & Recruiting Director, Jones enters his third season as a member of the Virginia coaching staff.
“I am honored and humbled by this opportunity that Coach Mox has afforded to me and my family,” Jones said. “Coach Mox is a special person, coach, mother, and wife, and I am thankful to continue serving and growing with this program.
“My family and I love Charlottesville and The University of Virginia! We are excited to continue build with Coach Mox, the staff, players, and UVA Family.”
In all, Jones has coached alongside Agugua-Hamilton for five seasons after spending three together at Missouri State.
