WBB: Cavaliers announce 2024-25 non-conference schedule

The Virginia women’s basketball team announced its 2024-25 non-conference schedule, which features eight games at John Paul Jones Arena in addition to a preseason exhibition game.
Entering her third season as head coach of the Cavaliers, Amaka Agugua-Hamilton and her team will host NCAA II Barton College for a preseason exhibition game on Thursday, Oct. 31. That contest will be open to the public with free admission.
The 2024-25 season will tip off on Monday, Nov. 4 against American.
The Cavaliers will play at Oklahoma on Friday, Nov. 8. The Sooners (23-10) were a five-seed in the 2024 NCAA Tournament.
Virginia will welcome Auburn to John Paul Jones Arena on Thursday, Dec. 5 in the ACC/SEC Challenge, as previously announced.
The Cavaliers’ home schedule also features matchups with Radford (Nov. 13), LaSalle (Nov. 17), Alabama State (Nov. 20), Bethune-Cookman (Nov. 24), Maryland-Eastern Shore (Dec. 17) and Coppin State (Dec. 21).
Virginia will travel to San Juan for the Discover Puerto Rico Shootout, where they will join Green Bay (Nov. 28), Washington State (Nov. 29), and Wyoming (Nov. 30) in the four-team field.
Dates for ACC contests, game times and TV designations for the entire 2024-25 schedule will be announced at a later date.
SEASON TICKET INFORMAION
Season ticket deposits are available at UVATix.com. Deposit holders will be contacted in early September to pick their seats.
Season tickets will go on sale in early September. Reserved season tickets are $175 Courtside (Requires $750 VAF Donation), $90 Reserved Sideline and $75 Reserved Corner. General Admission seats are $60 each. Faculty and staff receive a discount of 20%.
Single-game tickets will go on sale in October.
