According to a report from nxtsportsagency, Virginia junior cornerback Ja’Son Prevard is entering the transfer portal.

Prevard, who transferred to UVA from Morgan State, was an ACC honorable mention pick this past season, when he had an impressive stats collection of 24 tackles, three interceptions, five PBUs. The 6-foot-2, 200-pound corner has an 85.2 PFF grade, which is seventh in the ACC at his position.

Prevard will be remembered for his game-clinching interception in double-overtime to beat Florida State. He had another interception in that game inside the red zone. He also intercepted a pass in the fourth quarter of UVA’s 22-20 win over Washington State and made a goal-line tackle to stop North Carolina’s two-point conversion attempt in double overtime in Chapel Hill.
