Ryan Odom talks a lot about the character of this year’s basketball team and there was no greater example than last night’s postgame interview with senior guard Dallin Hall.

Virginia was down 73-71 to Tennessee in the NCAA second round Midwest Region matchup with less than a minute to play. Jacari White had missed a layup and there was a mad scramble for the ball.

Game officials ruled that the ball went off Hall’s fingers and out of bounds, awarding the possession to Tennessee. Odom issued a challenge, which forced officials to go to the replay cameras to review the play.
