Third-year Jaclyn LaHa recorded the first individual title of her collegiate career on Monday, finishing the Terps Invitational at 5-under 211. Four Cavaliers finished in the top six as the team held on to clinch their first title of the season at University of Maryland Golf Course in College Park.

Virginia combined to shoot 4-under 860 and staved off Kentucky by a pair of strokes to claim the team title. The tournament was highlighted by a second round in which the Cavaliers shot 6-under 282.

After tying a career best 6-under in the second round, LaHa carded 1-under 71 on Monday’s final round to record a 5-under 211 over 54 holes. The performance marked LaHa’s lowest 54-hole score against par for her career.

Kennedy Swedick placed third at 1-over 217 to mark her career-best tournament finish. Elsie MacCleery and Mira Berglund each tied for sixth at 2-over 218. MacCleery marked her career-best tournament finish.

Remi Bacardi tied for 14th individually at 5-over 221.

Virginia will be back in action April 16-19 when the team travels to Porter’s Neck Country Club in Wilmington, N.C., for the ACC Women’s Golf Championship.
