Donovan Platt is somewhat of a unicorn in Virginia’s secondary, meaning he can play the challenging “Spur” position, essentially a corner who can play the field safety spot as well.

The Spur demands someone who can pass cover like a corner but also has the physicality of a safety, who often takes on a much larger opponent.
