Seven-footer Ugonna Onyenso carved out a name for himself in Virginia basketball this past season when he produced the second-highest number of blocked shots in a single season, finishing only behind legendary Ralph Sampson.

Ugo, as his coaches and teammates called him, averaged 2.9 blocks per game and finished second in the nation in blocked shots, leading the Cavaliers, who finished as the top shot-swatting team in the nation (6.2 per outing).
