Joanna Hardin is hoping that Virginia softball’s winningest class can go out with a championship when the Cavaliers open play tonight in the ACC Tournament at UVA’s Palmer Park (7:30 p.m. vs. Pitt).

Five seniors, all from the state of Virginia, have been major contributors in turning the program around during their careers, culminating with their school hosting the conference championships for the first time (see related story on this site for ACC Tournament schedule, pairings and more).
