Baseball: UVA-ODU game moved to Wednesday to mourn loss of Buchanan

The baseball game between No. 14 Virginia and ODU, originally scheduled for Tuesday at Disharoon Park, has been moved to Wednesday. The date change allows the Virginia baseball team to attend this week’s funeral services of Aaron Buchanan, father of junior pitcher Matthew Buchanan.

Over the weekend, the Cavaliers wore lavender ribbons on their hats in support of the Buchanan family.

First pitch on Wednesday will be at 2:30 p.m. and the contest will broadcast on ACCNX as originally planned.
