Baseball: Virginia announces game times, promotional schedule for 2023 home games

With the 2023 college baseball season less than a month away, the first pitch times for all home games at Disharoon Park are now available on VirginiaSports.com. Virginia also unveiled its promotional schedule for the 2023 season. Single-game tickets for February and March contests will go on sale to the public at 9 a.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 25.

After the opening the season at the Hughes Brothers Challenge hosted by UNCW in Wilmington, N.C., the Cavaliers will play their home opener at 3 p.m. on Tuesday, Feb. 21 against Longwood. It will mark the first game of a nine-game homestand for UVA.

2023 PROMOTIONAL SCHEDULE

  • Friday, March 24 – Bachelor Night

The Bachelor takes over The Dish. Themed videos from the players and red roses for students in attendance.

  • Saturday, March 25 – Heroes Appreciation Day
  • Friday, April 7 – “Tell me Something Good” Friday

Fans will have the opportunity to share their good news in exchange for prizes and keep an eye out for random acts of kindness!

Stay tuned for chicken deals, chicken-themed contests on the field, and all kinds chicken-themed Hoovision content.

Wear your favorite pajamas to The Dish! Children in attendance who wear their pajamas get a free Virginia Baseball pillowcase, while supplies last.

  • Friday, May 12 – Beach Party

Celebrate the end of the school year and warm weather with Virginia Baseball. Fans will receive a free Beach-Nik giveaway while supplies last.

  • Saturday, May 13 – Yoga in the Outfield
  • Sunday, May 15 – Mother’s Day

Every Sunday home game is YOUTH DAY! Kids get in free to all Sunday games with the purchase of at least one adult ticket for general admission seating areas. Offer valid online only while supplies last. Postgame autographs, kids run the bases, free face painting and more!

2023 TICKET INFORMATION
Season Tickets
Season tickets are still available for 2023. Season ticket memberships offer guarantee the same seats to all UVA regular season home games at the lowest price per game. General admission seats are $75 and reserved seats start at $125. UVA Faculty & staff receive a 20% discount on up to four (4) season tickets.

CavPass
New for 2023, fans can access all UVA regular season home games for $99. Fans may pick their seats beginning 48 hours prior to each game online through their ticketing account.

Single Game Tickets On Sale Dates
Monday, Jan. 23 – VAF Donor & Season Ticket Member pre-sale for February & March games
Wednesday, Jan. 25 – Public on-sale for February & March single game tickets
Monday, March 6 – VAF Donor & Season Ticket Member pre-sale for April & May games
Wednesday, March 8 – Public on-sale for February & March single game tickets

Ticket prices vary depending on the seating location and game.  General admission seats start at $6 and $8. Fans are encouraged to purchase in advance to save money and time compared to purchasing at the box office.

Group Tickets
Discounted group tickets go on sale for all home games beginning Monday, Jan. 23rd. Group discounts are available for size of 20 or more.

Kids Free Sundays
Back by popular demand, kids get in free to all Sunday games with the purchase of at least one adult ticket for general admission seating areas. Offer valid online only while supplies last.

Weekday Senior Discounts
New for 2023, seniors ages 65+ receive 50% off general admission and bullpen reserved seats for all weekday games.  Offer valid online only while supplies last.

Fans may purchase tickets online at UVATix.com, by calling the Virginia Athletics Ticket Office at 434-924-8821, stopping by in-person at Bryant Hall at Scott Stadium or on gameday at the Disharoon Park/Klöckner/Palmer Park entrance on Copeley Road.
