Virginia golf coach Bowen Sargent has to kind of pinch himself occasionally when walking around practice and thinking that his No. 1 player, Ben James, will be playing on the PGA Tour six or seven weeks from now.

James, who is ranked No. 1 in the PGA Tour University standings, is likely to get his Tour card when UVA’s season is complete.
