With two minute remaining in regulation, Louisville exchanged their goal keeper for an extra field player. FROM HEAD COACH OLE KEUSGEN
“First half, we got all our momentum from the defense. In the second half, we got our game together and played a bit more risk and force moving forward, so that helped us but it is our defense that keeps us in games.”
Coming off Friday’s game against Boston College….
“It was a tough turnaround. We traveled back from from Boston on Friday night. As you can imagine, that’s tough. WeΒ played a very poor first half more so in terms of effort. So it was good to see a game today where we played all four quarters with 100% effort and with the intensity that is needed to win ACC games.”
