Coming out of high school in Zachary, La., Eli Holstein was one of the hottest quarterback prospects in the nation. Everybody _ especially in the SEC _ wanted him. Nick Saban got him.

Holstein was supposed to be the guy to replace Bryce Young, although ‘Bama was still trying to sign Arch Manning at the time.
