GoFundMe Set Up For Sammy Beale

Virginia’s baseball alumni is on a mission to help the late Sammy Beale’s family with medical expenses.

Anyone associated with UVA’s baseball past, and anyone associated with baseball in Charlottesville over the past several decades, had a special appreciation for Beale, known as “Mr. Baseball.” He spent countless hours helping improve the skills of players from little league to high school to college.

He was a human pitching machine, a tireless man who could throw batting practice for hours.

The baseball alumni is trying to raise money to pay for Beale’s headstone and to assist in medical bills.

Former UVA coach Dennis Womack and former Cavalier player Bill Narleski are hoping to spread the news. You don’t have to be a former UVA player to contribute to the cause.
