How to purchase ‘First Four’ and NCAA Tournament tickets

Virginia fans hoping to attend the Cavaliers’ “First Four” matchup with Colorado State in Dayton on Tuesday night are encouraged to purchase tickets through the NCAA.

Only a few Virginia Athletics Foundation donors will get the opportunity to request tickets from the Virginia Athletics ticket office in UVA’s block, according to the school.

There are no tickets available for non-VAF members through the athletic department, so fans must purchase them through the NCAA for the “First Four” event.

For the first- and second-round games in Charlotte, a limited number of VAF donors will be eligible to request tickets for the NCAA Tournament out of Virginia’s allotment. To request those tickets, go to VirginiaSports.com tonight.

Eligible donors will be notified via email when they can place their request. Tickets may also be requested by calling the Virginia Athletics Ticket Office at 1-800-542-8821 on Monday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. The deadline to request tickets is Monday at 5 p.m.

Requests for the limited number of seats will be filled according to VAF priority points order. Donors who place a request will be notified by email Wednesday about the status of their request. All tickets for the 2024 NCAA Men’s Basketball Tournament will be delivered electronically.

Tickets outside of Virginia’s seating block may be available to purchase through the NCAA. Visit NCAA Ticketing to review ticket availability and to purchase tickets.
