We are excited to announce that former Virginia coach Jeff Jones will join Jerry Ratcliffe for a new weekly podcast to our lineup, beginning this weekend.

Jones, who starred at point guard for Terry Holland, then succeeded “The Big Whistle” as UVA’s head coach, will provide great insight into Cavaliers basketball, the ACC, Old Dominion and college hoops in general. Jones coached at UVA, ODU and American in posting more than 500 wins. He was just named as chair of the NIT committee and as an advisor to the NCAA Tournament selection committee.

Ratcliffe is a veteran UVA and ACC reporter/columnist for more than 40 years, has been named state of Virginia Sportswriter of the Year numerous times by the National Sports Media Association and is a member of the state of Virginia Sports Hall of Fame (Class of 2023, along with Ryan Zimmerman and Shawn Moore).

Ratcliffe is involved in three weekly podcasts now: “The Jerry & Jerry Show,” every Tuesday with Jerry Miller; “The Jerry & Joe Show,” with former UVA and NFL player Joe Bock, and now the new hoops podcast with Jones.
