One stroke behind Patel was James, the reigning ACC Golfer of the Month, who finished his second round on Tuesday morning by carding a 68 before finishing with a 1-under, 71 in the third round. He was even par for the tournament which tied him for ninth place. The top-10 finish was his third in three tournaments this fall.
