Men’s Soccer: UVA gets No. 7 seed, will host NCAA second-round contest Sunday

The NCAA Division I Men’s Soccer Selection Committee announced Monday that the Virginia men’s soccer team will be the No. 7 seed in the NCAA Championship and will host the winner of a match between FIU (9-4-4) and Mercer (7-5-8) in a second-round matchup on Sunday at Klöckner Stadium. Kickoff is set for 1 p.m.

The NCAA tournament is made up of a field of 48 teams. As a top-16 seed, Virginia earns a first-round bye and will open play in the round of 32 at Klöckner Stadium.

TICKET INFORMATION

Tickets are $12 for reserved seats and $8 for general admission tickets. Student tickets are available for $4. Parking information will be announced in the coming days.

Tickets will be available starting Tuesday morning and can be purchased online at UVATix.com or by calling the Virginia Athletics Ticket Office at 434-924-8821. Reserved season ticket holders will have exclusive access to their seats on Tuesday by calling the ticket office.

VIRGINIA IN THE NCAA TOURNAMENT
