Miami coach Mario Cristobal said that quarterback Tyler Van Dyke, who missed last Saturday’s double-overtime 28-20 win over Clemson due to a right leg injury, should be back for this week’s game against visiting Virginia (Saturday, 3:30 p.m., ACC Network).

Van Dyke was injured in a loss to North Carolina the week before and was a game-time decision for Clemson.

“He’s good to go,” Cristobal said of Van Dyke. The coach said that running back Henry Parrish, who also missed the Clemson game, should be healthy for UVA.

However, Cristobal said that Miami sophomore pass-rusher Nyjalik Kelly is injured and has been lost for the remainder of the season.

The Hurricanes’ coach said that he was caught off guard by Van Dyke not being available for Clemson, but went with true freshman backup Emory Williams, who led Miami to the win, completing 24 of 33 passes for 151 yards and a touchdown.

Miami, 5-2 overall and 1-2 in the ACC, is an 18.5-point favorite, according to oddsmakers.
