Ralph Sampson joins ‘Jerry & Jerry’ Tuesday AM
The last time legendary Ralph Sampson visited “The Jerry & Jerry Show,” the 7-foot-4 Hall of Famer stopped traffic in downtown Charlottesville, with people jumping out of their car to get a photo or an autograph.
Sampson’s return to the show is set for 10:15 on Tuesday morning, LIVE, on your favorite podcast venue. One of the easiest ways, if you’re on X or Twitter, is to log onto @JerryRatcliffe’s twitter account and look for the link. It’s also available on JerryRatcliffe.com’s Facebook page, on YouTube, you name it.
Host Jerry Miller and Hall of Famer Jerry Ratcliffe are anticipating a huge audience as Sampson will share his thoughts on Virginia’s basketball program, what lies ahead, NIL, a potential new coach and much more, including stories from his fabled career.
The hosts hope to allow as many from the audience as possible to get their questions to Sampson, the greatest player in Wahoo history, a player who appeared on the cover of Sports Illustrated six times within a four-year span from from 1979 to 1983.
Sampson and the late Bill Walton are the only two players in history to be selected as National Player of the Year three times, Sampson at UVA, Walton at UCLA.
