Last Saturday saw another upset-filled weekend of games, although one member of the panel – Scott Ratcliffe – managed to avoid more potholes in the road than others.

Scott dodged the upset bug enough to go 11-4, pulling into a tie with Dave (who went 9-6) for the panel lead. Guest Jay James was also 9-6, while guest Ahmad Hawkins and Hootie finished the week at 7-8.

While the panel each week always has a father-son combination with Scott and Hootie, this week it will have two such combinations. We are proud to have as our guests two executives from Hilldrup, a global moving services company based out of the DC area that is a 4th generation family business and a large supporter of UVA and UVA athletics. One guest is Charles McDaniel – President and CEO of Hilldrup – and one of the greatest players to ever wear No. 30 for UVA. He is a 1986 UVA graduate and was a standout linebacker for the Wahoos, earning All-ACC and second-team All-American honors while playing under George Welsh. Joining him as a guest picker is his son, Charlie, who is a 2015 UVA graduate, and the manager of sales/branch operations at Hilldrup.

The panel is unanimous in its belief UVA will up its record to 3-1 with a win over Louisville Saturday. The panel also like this year’s dark horse pick in the ACC – Boston College – to keep on rolling with a win at Purdue.
