UVA QB Muskett is listed as ‘day-to-day’

Virginia quarterback Tony Muskett has been labeled “day-to-day” for this week’s Thursday-night game at Louisville.
Muskett suffered a high-ankle sprain early in last Saturday’s loss to Georgia Tech. He did not return to the game. True freshman Anthony Colandrea, who started three earlier games in Muskett’s absence, finished the game.
“We’ll keep evaluating [Muskett],” UVA coach Tony Elliott said.
Elliott said that Muskett was injured on the second play of the game — on an undesigned run, and not on the sack when he came out of the game a few plays later.
“The snap was off a little bit to the right, so the exchange wasn’t on time,” Elliott said. “He did a good job of following the running back. That’s when it happened. He had to play a couple of more plays and had to come out.”
