Virginia women’s basketball coach Amaka Agugua-Hamilton is leaving no stone unturned when it comes to recruiting future talent.

Agugua-Hamilton, better known as “Coach Mox,” has extended two new offers, including one to a promising 13-year-old.

Ivanna Wilson Manyacka, a 5-foot-10 eighth-grader from Frederick, Md., announced on her Twitter account that she had been offered by Virginia. The Cavaliers were not the only early suitors for Manyacka, who already held offers from Michigan, Georgia, Boston College, Northeastern and George Mason.

Manyacka is a member of the recruiting class of 2027.

Meanwhile, UVA has also offered one of the nation’s top 15 prospects from the class of 2026, 6-foot Samai Green from Richmond’s Steward School.

Green, who averaged 21 points and 11 rebounds last season, holds offers from UVA, Syracuse, Ohio State, Penn State and Mississippi State. She has made an unofficial visit to Baylor.

Green is ranked the No. 12 player nationally in her class by Top Spot Basketball, and No. 2 in the state of Virginia by another service.
