VIDEO: Generation180 encourages Wahoo fans to ‘Electrify Their Ride’

A local organization is on a mission to persuade soon-to-be car shoppers to consider going the electric route, and they’ve brought along some familiar UVA faces — and voices — to join the cause and raise awareness of the benefits of non-gas vehicles.

Wahoo basketball greats-turned-broadcasters Cory Alexander, Jimmy Miller and Ted Jeffries recently joined Voice of the Cavaliers Dave Koehn for a fun video on the streets of Charlottesville promoting the message of Generation180, “a Charlottesville-based clean energy nonprofit to help drive awareness of electric vehicles and encourage people to pledge to make their next car electric.”

There’s even a quick cameo performance by a certain hoops coach that all Wahoo fans will want to see.

Anyone who signs Generation180’s pledge to make their next car electric is eligible for a raffle for two courtside tickets to a Virginia men’s 2020-2021 season basketball game. You can learn more by clicking here.
