It’s not hard to find heroes during a championship season. Go up and down ACC lacrosse champion Virginia’s roster and take your pick: one of the Millon brothers, Sunderland, Terenzi, Schroter.

There’s no question the Cavaliers, headed to the NCAA Tournament after spanking North Carolina 16-6 in Sunday’s ACC title game, wouldn’t be where they are today without goaltender Jake Marek.
