CHARLOTTE – Twenty-fifth ranked Virginia laid an omelet big enough to feed the Queen City on Saturday night when the Cavaliers were embarrassed by 10-point underdog West Virginia, 38-27, in the Duke’s Mayo Classic.

The Mountaineers, moving to 3-0, out-game planned, out-played and out-coached previously unbeaten UVA, leaving Cavaliers coach Tony Elliott pointing out numerous times that he needed to do a better job of preparing his team.
