When 247sports.com asked Charles Barkley what was the toughest loss of his entire basketball career, Sir Charles didn’t blink.

Considering his lengthy NBA career and an outstanding collegiate career at Auburn under Sonny Smith, Barkley’s toughest loss didn’t occur during any of those games.

Instead, it was two seasons ago when his Auburn Tigers suffered an agonizing defeat against Virginia when Final Four “Most Outstanding Player” Kyle Guy nailed three pressure free throws at the end of the game to end Auburn’s season in the national semifinals.
