Women’s Soccer: Virginia to face Louisville in ACC Quarterfinal Tuesday

uva soccerThe Virginia women’s soccer team (7-2-1) kicks off ACC Tournament play on Tuesday (Nov. 10) when the Cavaliers will face Louisville (4-4-0) in an 8 p.m. contest at the WakeMed Soccer Park. Virginia is the third-seeded team in the tournament, while Louisville is the sixth-seeded team.

The winner of the Tuesday night contest will advance to Friday’s semifinal match and face the winner of No. 2 seed North Carolina and No. 7 seed Virginia Tech at 8 p.m.

The 2020 ACC Women’s Soccer Championship will not be open to the public.

The match between the Cavaliers and the Cardinals will be carried on the ACC Network and streamed live on the ESPN app to viewers who subscribe to a cable system that carries the ACC Network.
