Virginia-Louisville Game Will Have A 12:30 PM Kickoff

Two announcements by the ACC today:

• The September 22 game with Louisville will kick off at 12:30 p.m. The game will be televised by your area’s regional sports network. In the Mid-Atlantic region, the game will be televised by NBC Sports Washington. The game is also Military Appreciation Day at Scott Stadium
• Juan Thornhill has been named the Atlantic Coast Conference Defensive Back of the Week for games played through Sept. 9. This is the second career weekly accolade for Thornhill, as he also earned the honor after the Duke game in 2016. Thornhill had several key plays in UVA’s 20-16 loss at Indiana. He finished the game with seven tackles, including five solo stops. Thornhill blocked a PAT in the first quarter and returned it for a two-point conversion. Thornhill later intercepted a Hoosier pass in the third quarter.
