It didn’t take Virginia’s leading receiver, Trell Harris, to find a new football home.

Harris visited Norman, Okla., on Sunday and announced Monday that he had committed to the Sooners. The 6-foot, 200-pound wideout, has one year of eligibility remaining.

A top target by Oklahoma, Harris was ranked a top 15 wide receiver in the portal according to On3 Sports.

The third-team All-ACC selection appeared in 36 games and started 24 during his Virginia career, amassing 113 receptions for 1,603 yards and 9 touchdowns. In 2025, he hauled in 59 passes for 847 yards and 5 scores.

Harris, who is a legitimate deep receiver, averaged 65.2 yards per game receiving and 14.4 yards per catch. His longest play for the Cavaliers was 75 yards.
