Sophomore wide receiver Brandon White announced on his Twitter account Saturday afternoon that he will enter the transfer portal and no longer be part of Virginia’s football program.
“I am officially transferring from the UVA,” White tweeted. “Thank you to all the coaches and my brothers for everything. We went through it all. You will always have a brother in me. I am ready for the next chapter. I will compete and outwork to become the best.”
White is a 5-11, 185-pound receiver from Friendship Collegiate in Washington, D.C., and has three years of eligibility remaining.
He did not appear in any games during 2018 or 2019.
