Virginia has offered another 4-star prospect from the class of 2025, one with roots to the state.

Marcus Jackson, a 6-foot-7, 210-pound power forward, will play the upcoming season at Compass Pass Prep in Chandler, Ariz. (hometown of former UVA quarterback Bryce Perkins). However, Jackson formerly played at John Marshall High School in Richmond before transferring out west.

He is rated the No. 107 overall player in the nation by 247Sports, the No. 21 power forward in the country for the ‘25 class, and the No. 4 player in the state of Arizona.

Jackson helped spark Team Thrill UAA 17U to a championship over the summer, averaging 15 points, 8 rebounds and 2 blocked shots per game.

He announced his UVA offer on his Twitter account, one of several offers from quality programs including Tennessee, Auburn, Illinois, Iowa, Arizona State, Maryland, Georgetown and others.
