Three Hoos were tabbed for All-ACC honors with the release of the annual awards prior to the start of the ACC Softball Championship.

The No. 23 Virginia softball team opens the 2026 Allstate ACC Championship on Wednesday when the Cavaliers take on Pitt.

The Cavaliers will face No. 11 seed Pitt in the opening round of the tournament. First pitch for Virginia’s opening game is set for 7:30 p.m.

No. 23 Virginia set the tone early with a leadoff home run from Jade Hylton as the Hoos defeated Liberty by a score of 4-0 in Lynchburg.

Reagan Hickey’s two-run home run in the sixth inning vaulted the No. 23 Virginia softball team  to a 3-1 victory over NC State on Friday.

A four-run seventh-inning rally upended the No. 23 Virginia softball team at Palmer Park as the Cavaliers fell to JMU by a score of 9-7.

The No. 18 Virginia softball team dropped the series finale with Clemson by a score of 6-1 on Sunday at McWhorter Stadium.

A pitcher’s duel went the way of the home team on Saturday as No. 18 Virginia dropped a 3-1 decision at Clemson in game two of the series.

No. 18 Virginia got a three-run home run from Bella Cabral in her return to the lineup, but dropped the series opener to Clemson.

One big inning shifted the course of the game on Sunday as No. 17 Virginia fell in the series finale with No. 11 Virginia Tech.

The No. 17 Virginia softball team dropped game two of a weekend series to No. 11 Virginia Tech by a score of 5-2 at Palmer Park on Saturday.

No. 17 Virginia used a three-run homer from Alex Call to vault into the lead and held on to take the series opener from No. 11 Virginia Tech.

Catcher Reagan Hickey drove in three runs on the night, including the game-deciding run in the sixth, as No. 17 Virginia defeated Louisiana.

The No. 12 Virginia softball team belted out 12 hits on the afternoon, but fell in the series finale at No. 23 Duke by a score of 8-4.
