De’Andre Hunter on This Week’s ‘Jerry Ratcliffe Show’

Virginia’s De’Andre Hunter, one of the five finalists for the 2019 Julius Erving Small Forward of the Year Award, will be a guest on “The Jerry Ratcliffe Show,” on ESPN-Charlottesville (102.9 FM) on Saturday morning from 9-10 a.m.

Hunter, a redshirt sophomore from Philadelphia, averages a career-high 15.4 points and 5.3 rebounds per game. He currently stands third in ACC field goal percentage at 54.7, is fifth in free throw percentage at 79.7, and 13th in scoring with an average at 15.4. He is also UVA’s top defensive player on the nation’s top-rated defense.

The star Cavalier is riding a 16-game streak of scoring in double figures.

Among the other four finalists for the Julius Erving Award, presented by the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame, include former UVA player Marial Shayok (Iowa State), Rui Hachimura (Gonzaga), Admiral Schofield (Tennessee), and Caleb Martin (Nevada).
