According to Kings Insight, a Twitter account that follows the NBA’s Sacramento Kings, former Virginia star Kyle Guy is no longer with the organization.

A representative of Kings Insight tweeted “Just talked to Kyle Guy, told me he won’t be staying with the Sacramento Kings anymore.” Another tweet said that Guy is on the Golden State Warriors Summer League roster according to Sean Cunningham, who is affiliated with Kings Radio.

The Warriors Summer League roster includes Guy, however it was noted that while he will be with the Warriors in Las Vegas, he will not play in the California Classic in Sacramento, according to Jason Anderson, who covers the Kings for the Sacramento Bee.

Guy signed a two-year, two-way contract with the Kings on July 7, 2019. He was a second round choice by the Kings, and the No. 55 overall pick in the draft.
