Virginia didn’t have to go far to make its only three offers thus far to prospects in the recruiting class of 2024. All three are among the top seven prospects in the state of North Carolina.

The latest two offers came Tuesday when Tony Bennett extended offers to Jaeden Mustaf and Jayden “Juke” Harris. Harris made an official visit to UVA on Monday. Virginia had previously offered another North Carolinian (back in January), Jarin Stevenson, who has become one of the most sought-after players in the nation.

Mustaf is a 6-foot-5, 4-star shooting guard from Matthews, N.C., where he attends Carmel Christian School. Mustaf is rated the No. 55 overall prospect in his class nationally, the No. 13 shooting guard and the No. 4 prospect in the state of North Carolina (all those ratings were by 247Sports).

He holds offers from Virginia, Virginia Tech, Maryland, NC State, Indiana, Xavier, Georgia and Texas A&M.

Meanwhile, Bennett was quick to offer Harris after his recent visit. Harris is a 6-4 combo guard from Salisbury, N.C.

He is rated the No. 18 shooting guard in the country by On3, the No. 75 overall prospect in the nation and No. 7 in his home state. Harris has been offered by UVA, Virginia Tech, Wake Forest, Georgetown, Tennessee, VCU, NC State, Houston, Illinois and others.

Stevenson, who many believe will eventually go to UNC, is a 6-8, 5-star power forward from Pittsboro, N.C.

Rivals rates him the No. 14 overall prospect in the country, the No. 1 power forward and the top prospect in the state of North Carolina.

UNC, Virginia, NC State and Wake are all in hot pursuit.
