Joe Harris joins this week’s ‘Jerry Ratcliffe Show’

Joe HarrisNBA 3-Point Shooting Contest champion Joe Harris will appear on “The Jerry Ratcliffe Show,” on Saturday morning from 9-10 a.m. on ESPN-Charlottesville (102.9 FM and 1450 AM).

Harris, who led Virginia to its first ACC Tournament championship (2013-14) since the 1976 season, was one of the key ingredients in turning the Cavaliers’ basketball program around in Coach Tony Bennett’s fifth season.

Affectionately tagged “Joey Buckets” by Wahoo fans for his prolific scoring, Harris has carried over that moniker to the NBA where he is a starter for the Brooklyn Nets. Harris is one of, if not the top 3-point shooters in the league as evidenced by his 3-point shooting title last month in Charlotte during the NBA All-Star festivities.

Harris will be joined on the show by Virginia redshirt sophomore De’Andre Hunter, who is a finalist for the Julius Erving Award, a national honor presented to the country’s best collegiate small forward. Also on the show will be Dr. David Diduch, Chief of Sports Medicine for Orthopedics at UVA.
