If you haven’t tuned into “The Jerry Ratcliffe Show” on Saturday mornings (9 a.m. to 10 a.m.) @WVAX  ESPN Charlottesville (102.9 FM, 1450 AM), you’ve missed some great conversations with Virginia athletes, coaches, and other notables from past, present, future.

This Saturday morning’s lineup is stellar: UVa director of tennis Andres Pedroso will talk about the men’s and women’s teams and next week’s big showdown at Boar’s Head with Wake Forest; former Wahoo great basketball player Richard Morgan will reminisce about fun times and beating No. 1 North Carolina; Virginia football legend Herman Moore will report in from the Super Bowl in Atlanta; and Miami basketball coach Jim Larranaga, will chat about his times here with Terry Holland and preview Saturday’s matchup between his Hurricanes and Tony Bennett’s No. 3-ranked Cavaliers.

If that’s not good enough for you, how about this: author John Grisham will be joining us on our Feb. 9 show to talk about Virginia basketball and its rematch with Duke later that day. Grisham is a huge Wahoos hoops fan.

We’ll talk sports and maybe a little about writing!

Grisham’s work has been translated into 42 languages and published worldwide.

We’ve had a ton of fun with this radio show, with guests like Ralph Sampson, Tiki Barber, Shawn Moore, John Crotty, Marques Hagans, Danny Wilmer, Bowen Sargent, Craig Littlepage, Jay Huff, Barry Jacobs, John Roth, UVa football recruits and coaches, and many more.

If you’ve missed any episodes, don’t worry. We have podcasted them and you can find them easily on this website.
