PFF grades for Cavaliers in NC State game
By Jerry Ratcliffe
The grades are in, and here is how Virginia’s offensive and defensive football players scored in the Cavaliers’ heartbreaking loss at NC State on Saturday.
Pro Football Focus grades every player in FBS, and here are Virginia’s grades, plus snap counts, broken down by offense and positions, then defense and positions.
While UVA piled up more than 500 yards of offense, the Cavaliers’ defense was gashed by the Wolfpack most of the game, until finally settling down the last three series. Consequently, Virginia moved the ball deep into State territory on its last three possessions, to the 30, 8 and 12, and walked away with zero points at the most crucial time of the game.
