Now that North Carolina is searching for its first outside the family head basketball coaching hire since Dean Smith in the 1960s, Chapel Hill has become the biggest rumor mill in college hoops.

That’s right, everything from Michael Jordan flying into town on his personal jet to talk about taking over the program, to hiring Florida’s Todd Golden to hiring Chicago Bulls coach Billy Donovan has surfaced to the top of gossip at UNC.
