Last week’s guests smoked our so-called panel of experts, with Greg DePalma and Les Disharoon showing they really knew college football.

DePalma had an 11-4 week while Disharoon was 10-5, with both doing far better than Scott, Dave and Jerry. Jerry was the best of the rest at 9-6, while Scott was 8-7 and Dave had a losing record at 7-8. Because of that, Scott broke the tie with Dave and is now in first place on the panel of alleged football experts.

This week’s guests include legendary Virginia football icon and former ACC Player Of The Year Frank Quayle, who is also the president of Roy Wheeler Realty Company; and Bill Millsaps, former executive editor of the Richmond Times-Dispatch and long-time sports columnist who is a member of the Virginia Sports Hall Of Fame.

The panel is not very optimistic about Virginia’s chances against Miami Saturday night, although Quayle put an asterisk next to his pick of the Hurricanes and wrote “Sure hope I am wrong.”
