Tony Bennett makes new offer to New York small forward

There’s yet a new offer on the table from Virginia basketball to a late bloomer that Tony Bennett has had an eye on during the summer’s AAU circuit.
Bennett has extended an offer to Ryan Dunn, a 6-foot-7 wing from New York. Dunn, considered a top 50 prospect, is a member of the Class of 2022.
After graduating from Long Island Lutheran in Brooklyn this past spring, Dunn decided to take a year of prep school and has enrolled for his postgrad season at Perkiomen School, located between Allentown and Philadelphia.
He is the younger brother of Justin Dunn, a first-round draft choice by the New York Mets, currently a starting pitcher for the Seattle Mariners. Justin Dunn played baseball at Boston College.
Ryan Dunn received his first high major offer on July 3 by Minnesota and Boston College followed suit the next day. Since then, Dunn has been offered by Virginia, Pitt, California, Marquette and Georgetown, among other mid-majors.
Dunn’s high school coach had this to say about the rising stock of the small forward: “If it wasn’t for the shortened season (due to the pandemic), Ryan would have blown up already. One of the most improved players in the country. Expect the offers to roll in.”
